An Act Of Kindness

This morning was sort of unusual for me I left out of the house early to pick up My drycleaning ( I have this gathering to go to ) I had to do it early because of My schedule later in the day. got to the cleaners picked up my clothes and got back in my car I was almost ready to leave when I got a voice mail message beep on the cell.
I had left the phone in the car while I was in the cleaners. well, I put the car back in park to see who it might be before I went to do any other errands. it could have been as simple as " bring home some milk or catfood whatever, I just wanted to know who it was. well, while checking my messages an older guy knocked on my car window scaring the "Bejesus" out of me 'cause I didn't see him Coming.
A second after calming down I cracked my window when he said through the crack; " excuse me sir but I think this may be yours it was lying next to your car and I thought you'd like to have it back." he raised his hand and sure enough it was a wallet.
my wallet !!!!
I was so thankful at that point I said well... THANK YOU ! " No Problem " he replied. he then turned and walked into the cleaners to pick up his drycleaning.

I did the normal wallet check everything was there and intact. happy that I just dodged a huge bullet and not even finishing checking my messages the girl from the cleaners comes out towards the car shouting to me "sir i'm sorry we forgot to put this in with the rest of your order." it was
A vest I hadn't noticed missing. well that was not only the coolest thing. I didn't have to leave come back complain I wasn't broke I still had I.D. and basically had the luckiest morning that I could recall in a long time.

I guess that brings me to my point. these people that I encountered this morning were little guardian angels they exhibited random or maybe not so random acts of kindness that allowed me to have a great morning and set the tone for my day and as you can imagine I was in a good mood after all that happened. I would hope that during our lives we extend the same kindess to others I have before and I have recieved what just might have been my karmic payoff. More than that it's just nice
to know that you may help someone out and maybe save their day with an act of kindess.
